No one is demonizing the middle class....but there certainly seems to be a
lot of defensiveness going on so maybe they should be!  Let's worry about the
life and death problems of the lower classes and not about the sensibilities of
the middle class; I think they will survive the onslaught.  Wouldn't it be
great if more people were able to enter the middle class and strengthen it?  All
it would take is some decent education and some decent jobs (not
manufacturing!).
