You want to hear about groups making a difference?  We have been going since
1997.  We have a school with free education for 150 children in a small village
outside of Cayes, trained medical teams working in the villages, a program
where they help one another build homes, a new project with chicken raising,
farming, digging wells... all of these things are easy- a little money from the
US goes a long way to help a lot of people, the Haitians doing the work keeps
them from feeling like they are only getting charity.  It is possible to help
them, be their friends and share God's love without all this wasted time
arguing.  Live by example, here and in Haiti.  I don't go to the door to preach
to them, but if they ask why I am there for the 4th time this year and not on a
cruise to another carribean nation I simply say, "Because God loves you and I
want to prove it!"
