Dear Nancy--I think you inadvertently created an allegory for Haiti...
could
djaspora be the creole pigs gone wild in the USA, gotten a little bigger
because there's more forage than there is in Haiti, and a little
meaner--meaning more able to demand and obtain their rights??? Could
Djaspora
ever return to Haiti and intermingle effectively with locals who are
starved
for food and rights, and become a more powerful socioeconomic force???
