Wynton Marsalis plays Tribute to Ms. Katherine Dunham on Friday, September 12th, 2003  8:00pm Symphony Space at 95th and Broadway.  Tickets at: symphonyspace.org. Show produced by Pangea Theatre Company, Steven A. Watkins, Artistic Director.

An evening of performance and dance celebrating the life and works of world renown dancer, choreographer, and humanitarian.

Ms. Dunham has given her life to the arts and community.  In her 94th year, Pangea Theatre Company in conjunction with the Haitian Centers Council w
ould like to honor one of our living ancestors.  People from throughout the African Diaspora are coming together to celebrate her divinity.
