16776: Roskamp: Cap Haitien schools

I am traveling in to Haiti Sept. 26-Oct.11 and was hoping to test the
hearing
of children in the Institute Montfort school in Cap Haitien.  However,
when I
called to make arrangements, I was told there was a "big problem"  with
the
teachers and the school will not begin until January.  I recently read a
post
on this list about 14 people being injured and someone calling for a
general
strike - is that way the school has been delayed?  I appreciate any
information
someone can pass on to me.
