A Directory of Haitian artists living abroad



Vie & Art Collections Inc. is announcing the release of ^^Haitian Art in
the
Diaspora - a Directory of Haitian Artists living abroad^^. It is the first
ever-published directory solely dedicated to helping Haitian artists
living
abroad to gain recognition. It is the first document of the kind to record
recent works by Haitian artists living outside of Haiti and aims at
providing
knowledge of a practical nature to those who are seeking information about
Haitian artists in the diaspora.

This 110 page, hard cover first edition of 5000, features the works of 85
artists who for the most part are living in Florida, Montreal, and New
York.
The participating artists provided their biographical information and
selected
their own work for the publication.  The artists^^ works, personal
photographs, and contact info are presented on a full color page on high
quality matt paper.  Philippe Michel Lerebours gave an overview of Haitian
art
in New York, and Marilou Vendrys discussed the presence of Haitian art in
Montreal.

While useful for art buyers, collectors, educators, and everyone
interested in
Haitian art, this publication offers a platform for the unknown artists
and
insures continuous visibility for the well-known artists on the market.



The book is being offered at the reasonable price of $35.00 to invite the
