Hello all,

An environmental studies professor is looking for articles that make an explicit
connection between wars, or more broadly, imperialism in Haiti and its
environmental degradation.  I have already given her book-length studies in
general that outline Haiti's underdevelopment.

Particularly useful would be any article or report to UN, USAID, etc. that has
specific statistics on the current situation or those that connect specific
acts (e.g. Boyer's purchase of Haiti's independence or FDR's constitution
opening Haitian land to foreigners, FRAPH's 1991-4 terror campaign) to
agricultural practices, etc.
