thanks to jafrikayiti for directing us to pina's latest attempt to play
lavalas spin doctor.  pina is, as usual, totally unconvincing.  to
demonize NCHR and the CONVERGENCE like he does is quite desperate.  that
CONVERGENCE receives some support from the US is hardly in itself reason
to believe they are a pawn in a "washington power grab". i seem to recall
washington once spending 2 billion dollars to get aristide back into
power... remember that? HELL-OH!

pina seems unable to realize that some of Haiti's most important political
thinkers are key members of the CONVERGENCE; folks who are way above
reproach, folks who risked their lives for arisitide and are now so
disillusioned with him that they partake in the only feasible alternative,
which is the CONVERGENCE.  to suggest that they are fixing to sell out
ayiti cheri is an affront to some hatians who have been engaged in the
true struggle for decades.
