From: Greg Chamberlain <GregChamberlain@compuserve.com> Ray Joseph, who went on to found Haiti-Observateur (1971), gave me a copy in 1970 of the New Testament he had translated into Creole that year -- Nouvo Téstaman avèk Sòm yo [sic] -- a paperback published by the Protestant Société Biblique Américaine. He said it was was the first time it had been done.
