Police hunt accused killer

Posters of a Pompano Beach man accused of killing his girlfriend, leaving
his girlfriend's 12-year-old daughter bound and gagged, and fleeing with his
own 4-year-old child are being circulated among the Haitian communities of
Broward and Miami-Dade counties and law enforcement officials throughout the
state.

The daughter of Jean M. Jean-Francois was found about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at
the home of a Miami pastor.

The girl's mother lives in Haiti.

Deputies discovered the body of Fritzanna Florestal, 36, Friday afternoon in
the Pompano Beach apartment she shared with Francois, 33; Florestal's
daughter, Aurelie-Anna Florestal, 12; and Francois' daugher, Medjie
Jean-Francois, 4.

Florestal's family had contacted police after not hearing from her for
several days and receiving several telephone calls from Francois.

An alert has been issued for Francois, believed to be driving a 1999 green
four-door Honda, Florida tag W48 VXV.
