Celebrate the 200th Anniversary of Haitian Independence at
HAITIAN TRADITIONAL DANCE WORKSHOPS
with Master teacher Peniel Guerrier (direct from Haiti).
Peniel Guerrier is a dance instructor at Ecole des Artes (ENARTS) in Haiti
and the Artistic Director of Ballet Folklorique Tamboula D'Haiti.

Workshops will cover revolutionary vodou dances: IBO (breaking the chains)
and NAGO (the warrior dance) as well as other traditional Haitian dance:
Yanvalou, Nago, Zepol, Mayi, Parigol, Djouba, Kongo, and Petwo.
All levels welcome.
Class fee: $11
When: Friday, January 30, 2004, 7:30-9 p.m.
Sunday, February 1, 2004, 5-6:30 p.m.
