If you have a good “peta” and light it up with a match, any well-armed
Haitian in Haiti (whether he is rebel, a chimère, a CIMO, SWAF…) will drop
his heavy weapon (M-16, 60) on the ground and run at full speed (pye, sa m
te manje m pa ba w!). The war game that has been playing there so far is
quite a psychological. Why? As Toto Nesite says in one of his songs, “Tout
moun sou blòf”; that's part of Haitian culture.
