Regarding the David Adams story. What a frail bit of journalism that is. An
estimate of how much money based on guessing it's 15 inches, assuming it's all
$100 bills and guessing how much is in 15 inches of $100 bills. Talk about
back of the envelope estimates. The reporter should have ascertained the dates on
the bills as well. That might give some indication as to ownership. It also
seems odd that the money would be the current residents since it was rotting.
In anycase, given the perils of Haiti, it doesn't seem that big a story that
lots of cash was kept around, unless the amount is accurate.
