Haiti: Take Action

1.. Ask your parish or community to include A Prayer for the People of
Haiti in its Sunday liturgy.
2.. Please read the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops'
Principles for Responding to Haitian Refugees at
http://www.usccb.org/comm/archives/2004/04-033.htm and take action by
writing your congressional representatives and urging them to support the
principles found in this document.
3.. Call your congressional representatives and urge a full investigation
of the U.S. role in Haiti over the last decade including any covert
operations as well as financial support for political opposition and/or
paramilitary actors.
