   WASHINGTON, March 22 (AP) -- The multinational security force seeking to
quell civil unrest in Haiti has grown to more than 3,300 troops, an
increase of about 600 over the past week, U.S. Southern Command said
Monday.
   There are now nearly 1,900 U.S. troops participating, up from 1,750 a
week ago, Southern Command said. They are mostly Marines.
   Southern Command also announced a name for the operation, which began
Feb. 29: "Operation Secure Tomorrow."
   Southern Command said there is a "generally improving security situation
and increasing opportunities for the establishment of the rule of law and
civil order."
   The multinational force is led by the United States and includes 730
French troops, more than 360 Canadians and more than 330 Chileans. The
French have added about 230 over the past week, the Canadian have added 235
and Chile has added about five troops.
