Delva's article suggests that relief to Haitian
economy is on its way - see first sentence. Is this a
fact? How much of this $300 million will really go to
help Haiti's economy or its infrastructure? I am
assuming that Delva wants to inform, not just report
(propaganda is not supposed to be among the means of
the main stream media). If so, did this article fail
the editing process? Can Delva provide what percentage
of all this money - he claimed $300 million - will go
to really help the Haitian economy or will be used by
Haitians in Haiti? A more accurate report should have
mentioned that number in the first sentence. If the
percentage is very low, is this misinformation? In
that case, should journalists exclude from the
so-called AID any amounts that do not directly go to
the country's economy before making AID claims!
