Free tours of Little Haiti


The city of Miami Haitian Bicentennial Committee and the Urban Tour Host
have partnered to offer free tours of Little Haiti in commemoration of the
Haitian Bicentennial.

The walking/bus tour will address Haitian arts and culture, voudou, Haitian
cuisine, and the rhythms of compas and racine (roots) music.

The first tour takes place Saturday, departing from the Caribbean
Marketplace, 5925 NE Second Ave., at 9:30 a.m. and running through noon.
Transportation will be provided by Miami-Dade County Transit.
