The CGT denounces the abuses and bad treatments given to factories
employees

Port-au-Prince, May 27, 2004 (AHP)- The General Group of Workers
(CGT) denounced Thursday the abuses and bad treatments endured by
factories employees.

CGT leader Yves Joseph declared that bosses continue to walk over
workers' rights, dismissing them in arbitrary ways. M. Joseph, who
was making comments on the decision taken by the Baker family to
dismiss a group of employees of its factories without notice,
considered that this situation is arbitrary. It is time that these
bad practices stop and that Haitian workers' rights are respected.
