A political  training seminar sponsored by ODCA-RDNP in Haiti

Port-with-prince, Haiti, June 24, 2004.



 Within the framework of the relations of interdependent and fraternal
co-operation between the ODCA (Organization of the Christian Democracy in
Americas) and the RDNP (Gathering of the National Progressists Democrats of
Haiti). It will be held in Port-with-Prince the first of two seminars of
political training for 80 young community leaders of the RDNP chosen through
the ten departments of the haitian territory Saturday June 26 2004 from 6
:00 a.m  to 9 :00  pm.



Lecturers will come from various countries to make presentations on the
Christian democracy, the challenges of the democracy today, the new centre
position and reformist on the scene of world affairs etc, with this first
international training seminar ODCA on political formation will be given in
French for our young leaders of the RDNP. Among others  influent and
respected lecturers, these young leaders will benefit the teaching of  Dr.
Ignacio Balbontin, of the Belgium, University of Louvain, the Executive
Director of the Latin-American Center for the relations with Europe Rodrigo
Vega, the Secretary of International relations of the SIDE of Mexico City
Rolando Garcia, the Executive Secretary with the presidency of the ODCA
Francisco Javier Jara, of Santiago of Chile, in particular.



The closing session sponsored by the direction of the RDNP, will be devoted
to a two hours debate on "the new challenges of Haiti: vision of the RDNP
"with as panelists three assistant secretary-Generals of the party, the
architect Fritz Benjamin, the senior Dr. Mirlande Manigat and the
geographer-political economist Lionel Desgranges and the stimulating
coordinator at the central office Rodrigue Jean Charles, panel whose
regulator and introducer will be the professor Leslie F Manigat,
Secretary-General and political Leader of the RDNP.
