JUNE 25, 2004

This panel is an open dialogue on Haiti's historical developments across
two centuries.  The discussion will focus on the challenges of Haiti's
complex past, the impact of the controversy surrounding former president
Jean Bertrand Aristide's departure in the current socio-political
situation of Haiti and the challenges and opportunities presented by this
transition.
