Creole and French are at the present both the official languages in Haiti.
Both languages are of Latin origin and they both use the same Latin
alphabet.

The "Phonetic-spelling" of "MAMBO" in Haitian Creole is based on the
French
language in contrast to other Creoles, which are based on English,
Spanish,
Portuguese, etc.

The spelling of the word "MAMBO" in Haitian Creole is based on the French
language
where "N" becomes "M" before the letters B, M, and P in such words like
embarquer, emmailloter, emporter, etc.  The following words are the
exception
according to Larousse in "DICTIONNAIRE DES DIFFICULTES DE LA LANGUE
FRANCAISE"
: Bonbon, bonhomme, bobonniere, embonpoint and neanmoins.

In Haitian Creole, it seems "TOUT VOUM SE DO" or "TOUT DO SE RE" where
English,
Spanish, Portuguese,etc., are entwined in "PHONETIC-SPELLING."


It is about time for us Africans in Haiti to build a "HAITIAN ACADEMY" in
order
to promote Haitian Creole and thus detach ourselves from "TOUT VOUM SE DO"
or
"TOUT DO SE RE" like in the phonetic-spelling of "VOOOODOOOO."
