in 1993 some guys from baby doc visited the document dealers in paris
asking what they are willing to pay for haitian documents. by coincidence
i was in one of the shops in rue drouot when a haitian who said he has a
friend who want to sell documents of haiti offered "documents of henry
christophe and dessalines".

the dealer (i don`t want to tell the name) offered (in $) 200 for
christophe and 400 for dessalines.  the haitian guy said he will come back
and bring the documents telling: "there are some hundreds". the dealer
told me later that he has bought a lot including a lot of documents of
francois duvalier and that he is sure that the guy has come from
jean-claude duvalier.
