Given the speculations on this list about Wyclef Jean's analytical
skills when it comes to Haitian politics, it might be of interest to
note that he rode down Eastern Parkway on a float sponsored in part
by Haiti Observateur (the fact displayed on it's side in large
lettering), this beacon of distorted truth and neo-duvalierism, in
the 2004 Caribbean Day Parade in Brooklyn after having walked the
route before with Mayor Bloomberg.
