The very first mistake that almost everyone makes when analyzing the Haitian situation is to divide the Nation or the Society in two antagonistic parts therefore leaving willfully or not the majority of the Working class, the students ,the unemployed, the peasantry, and a few non corrupted middle class elements, aside the socio-political spectrum.

If Aristide could be dislodged from the "Palais National" by a bunch of U.S special gang team ,it was only possible because he has been let go by the majority of the haitian population, and was totally isolated. He has certainly harvested what he had so meticulously sowed. By the way this reminiscent of the Famous "Jean Claude Duvalier Referendum", when a 99.5 % Yes vote turned out two months later to be a Zero approval, on February 7th 1986. On November 18, 2003, 600.000 HAITIANS SOULS were cheering Aristide atCap-Haitian but it was out of a last gesture of curiosity, not because these betrayed masses did not already disapprove of his governance. They came to see if in the midst of all this political turmoil Aristide could offer an alternative, explain his failure, testify of the reason why so many of them were cast aside by his government, why was the government so infested by former Macoutes and Duvalierists, civilian and military alike, above all why was it impossible for any Lavalas to find a simulacre of Justice. So much so, that while he was busy recanting his demagoguery and cric crac stupidities the masses in attendance started chanting some militant tunes, and Aristide had to let go his speeches and started to refrain after the assistance. It is in the video tapes of that November 18 event. If i could clearly see it, I am 100% certain that the political attache of the US embassy in port-au-Prince could see it too, except that the difference between me and them was clearly obvious in the sense that to me it meant that Aristide could no longer lie to the masses, had no more Hypocrisies that he could muster, and he had better start preparing for his downfall by ridding his government of all his cronies and acknowledging that the crisis has made him incapable to govern, which was a pretty hard thing for him to do , knowing his "faux-Orgueil".

For the U.S and their haitian lackeys, this abandoning of Aristide meant that the red light has been given by the Haitans masses that they no longer were bound to Aristide or his regime eventhough they clearly dissaproved of the tenant of the "contract social" Apaid &co, the Cannibal Army of the defunct Metayer, the students protesters, the "classe Politique", the Societe Civile and the militaires demobilises. This was an ideal situation: Aristide has no Political base,The majority of the population do not identify themselves with neither of the antagonistic forces, the few thugs like the "colibri" and "La banniere", Rene civil and PaulRaymond to a lesser extent, were not going to defend Aristide, "le lacheur".  Therefore with a small military "epouvante" the bush administration was capable of avoiding a repeat of the 91 coup d'etat ,i.e, so many dead partisans littering the port-au-prince's streets that the international press might embarass the occupant of the white house, this time there will be a coup from within the Aristide Government with help from the Leslie Voltaire, The gladys Lauture, The Yvon Neptune ,the Senator Fourrel Celestin & co., and a Scarecrow made of the remnants of Fhrap/Militaires demobilises/Police Nationale Traffiquants/Bourgeois Repugnants, all backed up by the Not so crazy James Follie and his special trained Marines . The final touch came on Feb. 29 ,04 when Aristide like a bag of dirty clothes was thrown into a US Air Force plane with no apparent specific destination, but just as their predecessors in 1915, those "Red Necks" might have joked to each other: back to the "Mother land".

It is understandable in such a situation that a good percentage of haitians living abroad (Roch lan dlo) see the presence of any Bush in the white house as a Handicap to Aristide chance of returning to haiti, and nurture the illusion that a Kerry, Butcher of the Vietnamese people, Highly decorated for murder will be more tolerant of an Aristide politically defunct.

My dear friend , simidor, this is the debate that animates all public forums where Haitians gather to collectively think about the crisis that permeates our society, the well to do haitians and the "Levantins" that dislike the masses and whoever talk on their behalf side with the Bush , those who still beleive that Aristide was well intentioned but his entourage did him wrong are hoping for a Kerry miracle while in reality like you so correctly stated,'ARYEN PAP DERANJE' KE SE kERRY OU BUSH".

Finally the scenario militaires demobilises VsPolice nationale in a lousy one made in the US embassy in Port-au-Prince that is given impetus proportionnally to the awakening of the youth,unemployed of the laboring masses in general who are concious that Aristide’s  time is gone for good and that now is posed in front of them the question of who shall prevail, the majority of the population or the few "levantins' "Hawcha Pacha bwat lan do" allies of us imperialism and defenders of the statu quo ante? I am sure that the people organized in Komite de Katye , Brigad de Vijilans shall overcome this small group of bandits and their allies The Latortue, the Boniface Alexandre.
