LONDON, Oct 20 (AP) -- Best and worst countries in the Global Corruption
Perceptions Index released Wednesday by Transparency International.
Scores are based on a scale of 0 (most corrupt) to 10 (least corrupt).
The United States ranks number 17, with a score of 7.5, tied with Belgium
and Ireland.
