yes, gonaives main road is still underwater, but there is a new road that
goes
around the water now. it's not a paved road, but at least you don't have
to go
through the water. as far as the haitians working on stuff in gonaives,
they
are very busy working on cleaning their own houses, washing out all their
stuff, and i saw haitians working on cleaning out the gas station and the
electrical plant.
