URGENT ACTION FOR HAITI

On October 30, 2004 from 11:00am to 1:00pm there will be a press
conference/demonstration, walk through Boston, and civil disobedience
to expose the Bush
administration’s dismantling of Haitian democracy and the criminal
abuses
against the poorest supporters of President Aristide.  There are
reports from
people living in the North that the U.S. military cordoned-off area
overlooking
Cuba at Mole St. Nicola and the Island of Latortue and are "building
something"
there. It is well known that the U.S. has expressed interest in
building a base
at Mole St. Nicola and the Island of Latortue for over half a century
now.

WE WILL EXPOSE AND HAVE AVAILABLE FOR THE PRESS, CREDIBLE SOURCES IN
HAITI TO
INTERVIEW, TAPED AND WRITTEN TESTIMONY AND DOCUMENTATION OF:

The US Embassy and US military officers kidnapping President Aristide,
the
democratically elected president, and the consequent criminal Marine
activities
including:

* Collusion with the old military who have slaughtered 3,000 of Haiti’s
poorest people including teenage boys
* Marine murders
* Marine torture of 4 government officials
* Marine child abuse against children


* Press Conference

      Speakers will include:
      Reverend Jesse Jackson, Haitkaah Social Justice Center, New England
Human Rights Organization for Haiti, National Lawyers Guild, Haitian
