Haitian traditions celebrated Saturday

The Historical Museum of Southern Florida will host Haitian Holiday
Traditions Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon at the Historical Museum of Southern
Florida, 101 W. Flagler St.

Haitian Holiday Traditions is a children's program presented in
collaboration with the Haitian Cultural Arts Alliance.

It will be presented with the museum's current exhibition, Haitian Maps and
Prints, from the Collection of Edouard Duval-Carrie.

Families will be able to create tradition fanals -- a construction of paper
lanterns for Christmas -- with artist Jan Sebon.

The event is free. For information, call 305-375-1621.
