I am totally for this.
As another poster pointed out, Haitians for the most part do very well
outside of Haiti. This is due to their inner qualities and hard work, which
is frustrated in Haiti, largely because of the people in office in
PortauPrince and, to a lesser extent, in the provinces (historically, for
200 yrs).
Haitians in the diaspora also help their folks at home financially, and
bring them to their new host country when possible, and they usually build
successful lives.
If the Iraquis can do it, so should the Haitians get whatever help possible
to do it. Some sites to travel to would work with haitians: Miami, NYC,
Montreal, Paris, (does California have enough mass?)....other suggestions?
