Sorry but 100,000-200,000 is wishful thinking or
revision. Here in merry ole Washington we have footage
of every major opposition demo. Apparently, there were
a team of film makers there who video taped them from
head to tail. Take it frame by frame and put a grid
designed to count numbers,usually conservatively, and
the largest was 25,000 in PAP. Interestingly enough,
the largest were tailed by US and French embassy
vehicles in the footage. Realize many people now feel
the need to justify their choices in this mess but
let's not exaggerate.I am told that a study has
actually been conducted that includes the numbers from
Feb. 7th demo of Lavalas demanding Aristide remain in
power. This should prove interesting.
