Folks,  I'm back from my travels and deeply appreciative of the work of
Dan Craig who kept the list up and running while I was away.  Dan has
turned the list back over to me and I'll be sending out my first news item
in just a couple of minutes.

But I did want to take a moment out first to thank Dan.  In the past the
list was forced to shut down when I was away, but for this long month he
kept it going.

Alas, there were some technical problems that made me able to use my
e-mail while in Ireland, but I now have a few months to try to figure out
some solution to that problem before my next extensive try which isn't
until the end of September.

Dan, thanks so much for your effort.  I know how much time it takes and I
know that everyone on the list appreciates your efforts.
