As in other posts, you have answered a side issue.

The point of the pilot and his boss was that Haiti was on the Bad Evil
Devil Satan list because of Vodoun, which predates both Islam and Judaism.
So, it is an anachronism to refer to the devil or Satan in connection with
Vodoun.
 I didn't know the exact date of the writing of the Old Testament, though,
and would like to know more precisely, if you can.
