International Creole Fest  Events



Sat. & Sun. May 28-29 - Esplanade Park, River walk, 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM:
Corner SW 4th Ave & SW 2nd St. Ft. Lauderdale (next to the Broward Center
for the Performing Arts)

Directions: From I-95 exit Broward Blvd, drive East and turn right on SW 4th
Ave.



. In concert, the most sought-after artists in the Creole world!

Beethova Obas the modern troubadour of Creole music,
Tanya St-Val the diva of the French-Caribbean Soul-Zouk,
Emeline Michel the Queen of Haitian Song and
the Canadian Cajun star Brigitte Leblanc

will perform live during this free-admission festival.



. Also on stage: Jean Coulanges, Ayabonmbe, Jude-Papa Loko, Tamboo Bamboo,
Belya, Mecca a.k.a. Grimo, Fahrenheit, The Band Next Door and more. The
beats of Rasin, Konpa, Troubadour, Zouk, Bèlè, Cajun, Calypso, Soca music
will be featured.



. Dance shows by Sosyete Koukouy and Bambou of Senegal showcasing the
richness of African and Afro-Caribbean dances such as Yanvalou, Rabòday,
Congo, Sabar, Djembe to cite a few.

. Art exhibit celebrating a unique aesthetical perspective. Will be
showcased the art of renowned international artists including Hersza Barjon,
Philippe Dodard, Philippe Chatelain, Marithou Dupoux, Earl Etienne, Levoy
Exil, Karine Gabon, Iris, Sophia Lacroix, Ellingworth Moses, Simil, Sufal.

. Exhibit of handicraft and industrial products inspired by Creole
traditions and selected for their uniqueness.

. Culinary art by chefs of Creole cuisine.
