Firstly, it is not at all clear which political parties Valdes was referring
too, and it seems to me that rather than the Fanmi Lavalas - which is not
meeting with MINUSTAH to talk about the election process - he meant Deronceray's
Grand Front Centre Droit and/or Guy Phillipe's Front de Reconstruction
National, which are.
Secondly, these attacks on Guy Delva are an absolute disgrace. If people
don't like what he is reporting, that is one thing. If people don't want to
believe in his reports because they contain information that conflicts with their
opinion, that's lamentably par for the course nowadays. But to resort - and
let's remember that this is quite literally possible - to a "shoot the messenger"
response...Really, things are bad!
