25758: Jepiem: (comment) on Jacques Roche murder (fwd)
From: Jepiem@aol.com
This is sad.
To compound the sadness the majority of haitians remained entrenched in
their preconceived notions and preset positions. No one seems interested in
figuring out why all these crimes are taking place in Haiti. "Go take them all
down in Belair or Cite Soleil", "It's us bourgeois they want to
destroy", "It's
all Lavalas causing trouble for the current regime and let's bar them from the
forthcoming elections and everything will be ok afterwards". The fact of the
matter is that these crimes are diverse and don't even seem to have a common
denominator. Haitians unite and stop running. Face the problems head on.
Probe and try to figure out why the everything is in such disarray. Stop the
impulse to destroy the ennemy. It's being tried on a grander scale in Irack
and
Afghanistan and it's failing miserably. This "blan" can't solve his own
problems where he has real interests of pride and oil why and how will he come
solve your haitian problems? Haiti is a small country. The US with all his
power
and riches and its big power associates have all the resources but I don't
see them being applied to help solve your problems. All they offer is their
poodle the UN to come and make an impression of dog. In the meantime Haiti's
boat is sinking; the rats are fleing and the vultures are descending on the
corpses. No they don't even wait for corpses. They are eating the hearts out
of
the citizenry, alive and still beating.
