"well-dressed" as pejorative - this was a funeral.  It is a sign of
disrespect to be poorly dressed.  The term is repeated several times, as if
this somehow detracts from the voice of these people - vox populi, if you
will.
Oh, yes, and being from Massachusetts, I reject the kerry -democratic
analogy with that offered by Quigley regarding lavalas as ridiculous.  Who
is "we?"  Not us.  Kathleen Burke
