26315: Blanchet: Fwd: HAITI: LIST OF REGISTERED PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES (fwd)

From: Max Blanchet <MaxBlanchet@worldnet.att.net>

This is not yet final.

The next step is for the electoral board to pass or flunk these folks.

This should happen within the next 10 days.

Most of the independents will not pass muster.

The names in red have -- in my opinion -- the potential to garner

100,000 votes or more.

To date, approximately 2.7 million voters -- about 64% of the electorate --

have been registered. It would appear that the rural areas have been

shortchanged in this process.

Registration will continue until the 25th.
