"I tend to see literature as a product of a series of movements, i.e. the
conjunction of a series of people, their ideas, and their locations from
wherever they came, which then creates a kind of energy, a vortex (or any of
the ways you want to imagine that movement). Out of that, a series of things
happen: poetry, dance, art, literary creativity and so on." - Carole Boyce
