This seems to me to be as childish as the "dog ate my homework" story.
Excuses and finger-pointing won't solve the problems with Haiti's
electoral process or much else.  Taking responsibility, setting goals,
having the humility to seek help when it's needed and energetically
working towards accomplishment are far more likely to bring positive
results.
