You are invited to an open discussion on labor in
Haiti and New York City, featuring:

--  Paul PHILOME, Batay Ouvriye representative, with
an update on Batay Ouvriye?s latest struggles, and an
overview of the current situation in Haiti;

--  And the one and only Marty GOODMAN, veteran
activist, Grassroots Haiti founding member, and a
leader of the recent Transit Strike in New York City!
Comrade Marty will highlight what was won and lost in
the process of the strike, and the relevance of that
strike to working people in and beyond NYC.

This event is to be moderated by a denizen of this
list whose true likeness will be revealed for the
first time to the world at large ;-)

Come one, come all!  Early bird refreshments
(including Haitian paté and the required brown bag
jug) reserved for the first 30 participants!
