Sprague is back, and with the same matters! As always, as if it was the
first time. As always, as if he had never received any responses concerning
anything.
Our delegates having been blocked at the Social Forum in Caracas and unable
to offer their analysis of the Haitian situation, we?re glad to learn that
the student Sprague came to ask once again the same question we?ve answered
so many times.
Indeed: what transparency is being referred to? And what?s the ?more to
come?? Since we already explained the sums we?ve taken from the AFL-CIO?s
Solidarity Center and since our principles have also already been laid out
-- even if it was a million dollars, we?d take it! The decision, each time,

That which is totally false is the allegation that these sums have an
incidence on our practices, due not only to our independence and our
criticisms and struggles against the presence and negative line of this
imperialist agency. That which is being denied is the fact that the
occupation was, once again, requested by the Lavalas government (just as,
besides, it had already been accompanied in the past). Only, this time the
imperialists chose to kick it out.
Actually, these interruptions in all debates and these practices of
deviation are, precisely, in order to attempt to hinder all serious
analysis of the situation of the Haitian people and, thus, cover at the
same time the role of the ?big-eaters? (granmanjè) in this, their alliance
with the principal bourgeois and landlords, and their total submission to
imperialism. Most of these big-eaters, presently, are in full electoral
process under the occupation and those who can?t be there, it is due to the
reactionary?s government preventing them from doing so.
