   A timetable for Haiti's new government:

   -- March 19: Date of second round of presidential elections between top
two finishers if no one candidate wins a majority.
   -- March 29: Inauguration of new president, on the anniversary of the
ratification of Haiti's constitution in 1987.

   Parliament must be sworn in before March 29
