Dominicana, in partnerships with the Association of Haitian Physicians Abroad
(AMHE) and the Lions Club Arroyo Hondo Santo Domingo, is setting up a medical
mission trip to the bateyes from April 17th through April 21st, 2006.
More than 15 US-trained and licensed Haitian health care professionals are

have difficulties accessing public health care due to extreme poverty,
discrimination or fear of deportation.
BRA's local partner, the Dominican Ministry of Health (SESPAS) will
collaborate with medical practice permits for the volunteers and customs
clearance for the much needed medicines entering the country. The foreign
volunteers will be stationed in Santo Domingo, and operating at the BRA?s new
medical center located at batey Cinco Casas, District Don Juan, province of
Monte Plata.
BRA Dominicana will arrange preferred accommodations for the foreign team.
Interested volunteers must register with the BRA ? cover their own airfares,
