Yes, 30 senators. Last election there were 27 senators. Three senators per department.
When did the 10th department come into being? Doesn't the constitution specify the number of departments? If not the constitution, where is it specified? Nippes is the new department I gather. This was just asked a few days ago. How did Nippes become a department? What favorite son demanded a senate seat, basically?
Nippes must be a pretty low population department.
