Preval was president then and made many statements
about the integrity of the vote and Haitian
sovereignity. Don't know why you folks seem to want to
omit that fact. Just like the folks who said that they
were trying to stall the same elections so they could
be held with the presidential elections to give an
advantage to Lavalas. Wrong then, wrong now.



It's the same mistake made by Aristide in the May 2000
elections.  That is, leaving the impression that you
are cutting corners to win all the marbles.
