The Justice Action Center and the American Constitution Society present:
STORMING THE COURT
How Law Students Shut Down the First Guantanamo Bay
Brandt Goldstein, author of the much acclaimed nonfiction legal drama, Storming
the Court, will be speaking at New York Law School on March 23 in room A900
from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (No RSVP is necessary.) His book tells the story
of how a band of idealistic law students and their professor successfully
fought for the freedom of 300 innocent Haitian refugees detained indefinitely
at the U.S. Guantanamo Bay Naval Station.
Pizza and light refreshments will be served.
