Your comments are enlightening concerning the relationship between American
Airlines and the Haitian Government but....
1) I don't think American Airlines loaned the Haitian government money
because they felt sorry for them. They probably found it to be in their
business

interests.
2) Was price gouging with mediocre service part of the deal???
3) Was lax security part of the deal???
4) Who authorized the Haitian government to make the deal with American
Airlines??? The parliament???
5) If another airline was interested in Haiti, American Airlines  would su
ddenly have 4 or 5 flights to Miami a day and ticket prices to  Miami would
probably drop to $200.00
