HAITI: PRÉVAL TO TAKE OATH IN MAY René Préval will be sworn in as Haiti's 
president on May 14, almost two months later than planned, the interim 
government said. His inauguration had been scheduled for March 29 but was 
postponed because of delays in the country's legislative runoff, now set for 
April 21. The president-elect cannot technically take power without a sitting 
Parliament. (AP)
