Kathleen,
Belot is a small locality in the mountains on the right side of  Kenskoff.
Le Moncel is a small resort that has I think about 50 rooms, it is on about
20 acres and everything on the hotel and restaurant runs on 5 windmills and a
lot of solar panels( I don't know how many)
The place is totally self sufficient.
For water they have some large citerns ( they hold more than 100000
gals),also they have a man made lake that holds 1 million gals of water.
Right now I think that they are experimenting a waterfall dam that will
provide more energy to them.
I have not been there for more than 6 months so I don't know what else they
have going but I can tell you I was impress it is a very interesting  place.
