Although I am against capital punishment, but for the sake of due process
and reclaiming order. People must witness the fair and thourough
judgement of a poor gang-banger alongside a rich one. The current
government must not show sign of impartiality. This frightning derailment
of Justice must be hallted with force and gradually ease punishment as
the society is regaining its sanity.
Currently, there are too many women being brutally raped; too many drug
traffickers, too many corrupt officials and too many gangsters from
Pétion-Ville to Cité-Soleil.
Again, Haiti is a republic and the rule of law must apply across the
board, rich or poor.
Patrick.
